Here’s my favorite holiday shopping secret: October Prime Day is the best time to cross people off your Christmas list. Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days runs October 6 and 7, and so many giftable favorites go on sale before the holiday rush even starts.
I went through the deals and pulled out the thoughtful, cozy, actually-useful gifts worth grabbing now, from a fluffy UGG throw to the coffee maker everyone wants. Shop a few, tuck them in the closet, and you’ll thank yourself in December.
Quick tip: Prime Day deals can sell out or end early. If you see a deal on something you’ll gift anyway, grab it while it lasts. Most holiday purchases also get Amazon’s extended holiday return window, so check the listing for the exact dates.
